thecauseof著重指產(chǎn)生或造成某事發(fā)生的原因,往往指造成不好的影響。下面見(jiàn)兩個(gè)例子：

2.The cause of the accident was his carelessness.

thecauseof翻譯為······的原因

reason翻譯為理由。
